We asked our team of Overwatch League analysts and experts to provide their picks for this matchup:

VAN

Erik “Doa” Lonnquist
Our second rematch of the 2019 season couldn’t be a better one. Vancouver barely edged out a map five win against Guangzhou the last time they met in Week 2, with the Charge taking Control and Escort during the series. The Chengdu Hunters showed us last week that Vancouver is certainly beatable, with an emphasis on capitalizing on Sang-Beom “Bumper” Park’s over-aggression combined with their own solid aggressive 3-3 play. The blueprint for beating Vancouver is there for the Charge to use, so at the very least this match is going to be close. That said, the Titans have always managed to find victory even when it seemed nearly impossible. I’m picking the Titans to close out a 7-0 stage, but realistically there’s a 50/50 chance that I’ll be wrong.

VAN

Malik Forté
While I don’t expect the Charge to catch the Titans off guard the same way they did in the first match between these two squads, I do expect Guangzhou to come out with force, given that their Stage Playoffs hopes hang in the balance. That’ll be enough to keep this one close, but ultimately Bumper and company will be dining on celebratory “McCree Burgers” after completing their journey to 7-0 and bouncing back from an unexpected five-map bout with the Hunters.

VAN

Seth "Achilios" King
The Charge have proven to be one of the most fun expansion teams to watch, outside of the Titans themselves. Given the messiness that we saw from Vancouver against Chengdu, this has fully become a potentially winnable rematch unless Vancouver (particularly Bumper) cleans up his play a bit.

VAN

Wolf "Wolf" Schröder
The Titans not only have already faced the Charge and defeated them, but they’re coming off a win against the Hunters' similarly aggressive, more DPS-oriented style. I think we have to rightly assume that with both these experiences under their belt, the Titans will have learned a lot and taken that into their practice. I don't think it will be a close match against the Charge this time. They will dominate.

VAN

Christopher “MonteCristo” Mykles
Based on the first meeting, it is tempting to think that this iteration of Charge vs. Titans will be a close match. Even though Vancouver still seems confused by surprises in team compositions, which Hong-Jun “Hotba” Choi can provide by flexing onto a variety of DPS heroes, this time the Titans will have more scouting information on Guangzhou’s tendencies. Based on this, expect more Reinhardt-based 3-3 compositions for the Titans that adapt positionally if the Charge opt for three or four DPS heroes. The Titans will finish their stage undefeated in a less thrilling match than the two teams’ initial meet-up.
