During the Overwatch League preseason, as NYXL prepared to play their matches, Jong-yeol “Saebyeolbe” Park could be seen cutting a cheeky figure, sitting at the end of his team’s lineup. He has quickly become a sweetheart of the Overwatch League after streaming from the NYXL house both in English and Korean, and clearly adores the attention. Saebyeolbe has taken to dabbing for fans’ enjoyment before games begin, and while highlights were shown on the big screen at Blizzard Arena Los Angeles, he stood on the catwalk to watch his own plays, turning to the audience and grinning, giving a thumbs-up.

Saebyeolbe is a showman both in and out of game, specializing in hit-scan heroes. He cut his competitive teeth as a member of LW Blue—the most success he saw as a part of that roster was a championship win at IEM Gyeonggi over Lunatic-Hai, and in Overwatch APEX Season Two, where he and his team finished the tournament in third place. But Saebyeolbe really broke onto the global stage as a member of the championship-winning South Korean team in the 2017 Overwatch World Cup.

Now he and his LW Blue teammates have crossed the Pacific to represent the Big Apple for NYXL in the Overwatch League—a new chapter for this roster, setting out to prove that they can be counted as the best in the world.

Join Saebyeolbe as he fights for personal accolades and the Inaugural Season championship by following him on Twitter and Twitch, and follow his team NYXL on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.
