In June, we announced the voting process for the 2019 Overwatch League MVP presented by T-Mobile. Phase one of that process is now complete—we polled the general managers of the Overwatch League, asking them to give us their top players, barring candidates from their own teams. After tallying those up, we’re ready to reveal the five finalists.

HOW TO VOTE

Voting for the 2019 Overwatch MVP Award presented by T-Mobile will be held on Twitter and on the Overwatch League Twitch channel (via Twitch Picks during live broadcasts) from July 25–August 25 (the end of Stage 4).

You can vote on Twitter using either the Twitter handle or OWL handle of your MVP candidate, alongside the hashtag #OWLMVP. For example, you could vote for Sinatraa on Twitter using #OWLMVP Sinatraa or #OWLMVP @Sinatraa.

To help you decide, we will be running weekly MVP Checkpoints during the broadcast to help you get to know the five finalists a little better. We’ll take deep dives into who they are, what makes them tick, and why they deserve your vote for the MVP award.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

The fan votes will count for 25% of the final vote. When the voting period has concluded, we will combine your votes with those of team coaches, GMs, league casters and analysts, and press who cover the league to determine the overall winner.

The winner of the 2019 Overwatch MVP Award presented by T-Mobile will be announced during the season playoffs, which start on Friday, August 30.

Remember, you have until August 25 to vote! So make your voice heard, and be sure to follow us at @overwatchleague to stay up to date on the MVP race.
