1. San Francisco Shock (21-5)
San Francisco remains at the top spot after two more dominant wins against the Shanghai Dragons and Dallas Fuel in Week 4. There really doesn’t seem like anyone can topple this team right now.
2. Atlanta Reign (14-12)
The Reign surged up my power rankings following two more wins in Week 4, when they beat the Washington Justice and the London Spitfire. Great consistency across the board combined with Jun "Erster" Jeong’s star potential have put the Reign into a position where they can qualify for the top six if they win both of their matches next week at KIT KAT® Rivalry Weekend.
3. Washington Justice (8-20)
The Justice ended their season as my third-place team after a streak of success in Stage 4 that saw them finish with a 6-1 record. While we’ve already spent plenty of time discussing Corey "Corey" Nigra and Ethan "Stratus" Yankel’s phenomenal damage play in Stage 4, I also have to acknowledge the improvement across the board for this team that grinded their way up from the bottom of the standings. We’ll see what the future holds, but right now things are looking good for the Justice heading into 2020.
4. Guangzhou Charge (15-13)
Guangzhou is finally getting the credit they deserve, is what analyst Brennon "Bren" Hook would argue. After successfully managing a 6-1 record in Stage 4, the Charge are now looking like a real threat for the season playoffs, and with a week off to prepare for the play-in tournament, they could very well go on a hot streak to close out their season.
5. Vancouver Titans (24-2)
Vancouver did not play in Week 4 and will instead close out their regular season at the KIT KAT® Rivalry Weekend. Two matches against the Shock and the Excelsior will surely bring us some excitement despite the fact that the Titans are already locked in as our Pacific Division champions and overall top seed.
6. Hangzhou Spark (17-10)
After starting Stage 4 on the wrong foot and enduring a three-match losing streak, Hangzhou are back in my power rankings just in time for the season playoffs. Kyeong-Bo "GodsB" Kim has really started proving why he was brought into the roster in the first place, showing off his great Hanzo and Widowmaker, and with a guaranteed top-six seed for the playoffs, the Spark are now well-positioned to take on the rest of the league.
7. Los Angeles Gladiators (16-11)
The Gladiators dropped heavily in my rankings following a tiebreaker loss to the Spark, which might seem a tad aggressive, but their drop from the second-place spot has been a long time coming. Several teams have consistently proven themselves in Stage 4; meanwhile, the Gladiators are seemingly dropping off. When they go up against their Los Angeles rivals this weekend in their final regular-season match, the Gladiators will have one more opportunity to show us what they’re made of ahead of the season playoffs.
8. London Spitfire (16-12)
The Spitfire took a brutal loss to the Reign in Week 4, and while Atlanta have been dominant recently, that’s no excuse for the Spitfire barely showing up to play in the first place. We always talk about how star-studded this roster is, so perhaps they’re just resting ahead of another elimination-game run in the playoffs?
9. Seoul Dynasty (15-13)
Seoul secured a nice win over the disappointing Dragons in Week 4, but also suffered a surprising loss to the Fusion. Despite that, they climbed to ninth in my power rankings, as they still look better with Byung-Sun "Fleta" Kim in the projectile role and Dong-Eon "Fits" Kim manning the hitscan heroes. We’ll see if they can improve even further ahead of the season play-ins in two weeks.
10. Los Angeles Valiant (12-14)
The Valiant are still holding on for dear life in the league standings heading into Kit Kat Rivalry Weekend, where they’ll have two opportunities to secure a spot in the play-in tournament. If they want to defeat either the Gladiators or the Shock, Kyle "KSF" Frandanisa and Indy "Space" Halpern will have to deliver some of their best performances of the season. Perhaps the home crowd at their homestand will be a crucial difference-maker.
